Geboren in de hoofdstad Mexico (CDMX) 1989.
Mexicaanse & Italiaanse nationaliteit.

In 2015 afgestudeerd als architecte in de Universiteit van Mexico. Haar thesis die over de renovatie & urbanisatie van het historisch centrum ging, maakte deel uit van een wedstrijd waar ze als laureate verkozen werd.

In 2018 volgde Amanda nog een master cultureel erfgoed & museologie aan de universiteit van Barcelona.

Sinds 2019 verhuisde ze naar Zottegem, België.

Haar liefde voor kunst groeide verder uit het bezichtigen van diverse tentoonstellingen en bijwonen van inspirerende speeches van erkende artiesten in het kunstmuseum MUAC – UNAM te Mexico-stad. Amanda werkte reeds samen met internationale architecten & kunstenaars gedurende haar opleiding en kreeg zelf de smaak te pakken om al haar creativiteit te ontplooien op canvas.

Tijdens haar studies in Barcelona startte Amanda te experimenteren met verschillende verftechnieken waaronder aquarel. Later volgde dan de passie voor acrylverf. Veel van haar schilderijen zijn op basis van acryl gemaakt.

Gebeten door creativiteit en gepassioneerd door deze techniek, combineert ze haar Mexicaanse achtergrond met haar recente ervaringen in het leven in België en vereeuwigd deze mix van gevoelens in haar schilderijen. Het resultaat: een cocktail van krachtige en kleurrijke combinaties zijn de rode draad doorheen al haar abstracte werken.

Veel van haar hedendaagse werken zijn experimenteel, verwijzend naar de natuur en omvatten opvallende maar gewaagde samenhangende kleurgradaties. Abstracte vormen ontstaan door te werken met expressieve hooglichten & surreële schaduwen.

Architect graduated in 2015 with honorable mention from the Autonomous University of Mexico, Faculty of Architecture. Her thesis was an urban and renovation project in the Historic Center which was a contest by the government of Mexico City, which also obtained an honorable mention.

In 2018 started the master’s degree in Management of cultural heritage and museology at the University of Barcelona.

Her first connection with contemporary art have experience of collaborating as a mediator, art education programs and talks by international Mexican artists at the Museo Universitario de Arte Contemporáneo, Mexico City). After she collaborated as an assistant with important artists in Mexico City.

Her job like a plastic artist start in 2018 in Barcelona, ​​experienced and having an interest in the watercolor technique. In 2020 her firsts experiment and learn about acrylic, a very noble type of painting and she practices to be able to demonstrate her creativity through painting in the art world. Passionate about this field of art and museums, she had the opportunity to work and visit various environments dedicated to this topic. For which she has taken it as part of her professional life. Amanda Luna has developed transmit part of his emotions and ideas, experimenting through a visual experience with nature, using colours in different shades, gradients, lighting and abstract forms that result in a simple pictorial expression with a character of his own that has improved throughout his experience and time.

Actualmente vive en Zottegem, Belgica.

Arquitecta graduada en el 2015 con mención honorífica en la Universidad Autónoma de Mexico, Facultad de arquitectura. Su tesis fue un proyecto urbano y de renovación en el Centro histórico el cual fue un concurso por parte del gobierno de la ciudad de Mexico, el cual obtuvo igual un mención honorífica.

EN 2018 realizo el master de Gestion del patrimonio cultural y museologia en la Universitat de Barcelona.

Tuvo la experiencia de colaborar como mediador, programas de educación del arte y pláticas de artistas mexicanos internacionales en el Museo Universitario de Arte Contemporáneo, Ciudad de México). También colaboro como asistente de importantes artistas en a Ciudad de Mexico.

Empezó su trabajo como artista plástico en el 2018 en Barcelona, experimentado y teniendo un interes por la técnica de acuarela. En 2020 se atrevió a experimentar y conocer el acrílico, un tipo de pintura bastante noble y practica para poder dar demostrar su creatividad por la pintura en el mundo del arte.

Apasionada por este campo arte y museos, tuvo la oportunidad de trabajar y visitar varios entornos dedicados a este tema. Por lo cual ha tomado como parte de su vida profesional. Su concepto o su definición por su trabajo es transmitir parte de sus emociones e ideas, experimentando a través de su experiencia visual con la naturaleza, usando colores en diferentes tonalidades, degradados, iluminación y formas abstractas que da como fruto una expresión pictórica sencilla y con un propio carácter que ha mejorado a lo largo de su experiencia y tiempo.
